GOAL A – Sone Aluko v Dundee Utd, March 17
While the final touch was a deflection off John Rankin, the build-up work was simply sublime from Aluko. Left on the bench at the start of the game, the little winger had an instant impact when he came on, bursting down the right and bemusing a couple of United defenders before scooping the ball in to the back of the net.

GOAL B – Sone Aluko v Celtic, March 25
If his strike at Tannadice had a degree of fortune about it, there was little luck involved in the opening goal of the Old Firm clash. Aluko’s first derby strike for the Gers was a thing of real beauty as he used skill, pace, control and timing to beat the entire Celtic backline and slot comfortably beyond Fraser Forster.

GOAL C – Lee Wallace v Celtic, March 25
Wallace’s goal ultimately proved to be the difference between the sides as a late slip allowed Celtic in to score twice. But his inclusion comes for sheer effort and desire. The full back won the ball back in midfield and fed it to Steven Davis, before busting a gut to make sure he was on the end of the Ulsterman’s pass to secure a derby goal and a moment he’ll never forget.

GOAL D – Ally McCoist v AC Milan Glorie, March 30
It might not have earned his side any points but the current Rangers boss rolled back the years when he emerged from the tunnel to start the second half for a Rangers Legends side. His movement made up for any lack of pace as he left Alessandro Costacurta bemused to meet Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s pinpoint cross and head in the only goal of the game.

GOAL E – Steven Whittaker v Motherwell, March 31
Whittaker has scored numerous goals for the Light Blues in the past few campaigns, but this left foot effort was his first of the current season. He may not have been as prolific as he has been in years gone by, but the quality of the goal stands up against some of his best. Given time to set himself he rifled a left foot shot from 25 yards that moved both ways to deceive Darren Randolph in the Motherwell goal.
