RANGERS are today delighted to confirm the signing of Polish goalkeeper Maciej Gostomski on a six month contract.
The goalkeeper signs until the end of the season after his deal with Lech Poznan expired at the end of 2015.
The 6ft 5in keeper, who is 27, has previously been at the club for a trial period at the end of last year and has today signed for the club after impressing during that spell.
After playing for several clubs as a younger player, Gostomski settled at Bytovia Bytow for two seasons before joining Lech Poznan in 2013, where he played 44 times in two seasons.
He said: “This is a great opportunity for me and with my experience I think I can bring something to Rangers. They are a huge club with a great history and I am delighted to be here.”
Gostomski will be available for selection for the upcoming Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox against Cowdenbeath on Saturday 10 January.
The stopper becomes the second signing added by Mark Warburton already this transfer window after securing the services of attacker Harry Forrester last week.
