RANGERS make five changes to face Ross County on Armed Forces day at Ibrox as Danny Wilson, Clint Hill, Andy Halliday, Jason Holt and Martyn Waghorn come into the side.
At the back the injured Rob Kiernan drops out, while Philippe Senderos is suspended. The rest of the back four is made up of James Tavernier and Lee Wallace. Wes Foderingham retains his place in goal.
In the midfield Joey Barton drops out to be replaced by Andy Halliday and there is room for Jason Holt who hasn’t played since August 9 due to an ankle injury as Niko Kranjcar starts on the bench. The pacey 23-year-old hadn’t started a game since the Gers opening game of the season in the League Cup against Motherwell.
Josh Windass keeps his place in the side after he made his league debut for the Gers against Celtic last weekend.
Up front Joe Garner will start in the middle of the front three, he netted his first Rangers goal in the Old Firm fixture at Parkhead.
Martyn Waghorn will start his first game since the opening day of the Premiership season, having fully recovered from a hamstring tear. The striker is still the Light Blues top scorer for the campaign with five. Barrie McKay keeps his spot out wide while Kenny Miller is amongst the subs.
There is good news on the bench for Matt Crooks as he is involved in the matchday squad for the first time since he arrived from Accrington Stanley this summer. The 22-year-old suffered an ankle injury back in March and had been sidelined ever since – he then suffered a setback due to illness.
