IT’S a bitterly cold night here in Moscow, and manager Steven Gerrard has named five changes to his side to take on Spartak at the Otkritie Arena this evening.

From the team which defeated St Mirren 2-0 on Saturday, out go Joe Worrall, Andy Halliday Ryan Jack, Eros Grezda and the injured Ryan Kent, with their places taken by Nikola Katic, Jon Flanagan, Lassana Coulibaly, Daniel Candeias and Glenn Middleton, who makes his first start in Europe for the Gers.

That means its a back five of Allan McGregor in goal, captain James Tavernier, Katic, Connor Goldson and Flanagan.

Coulibaly, Ovie Ejaria and Scott Arfield are in midfield while Candeias and Middleton will provide support to Alfredo Morelos.

On the bench for Gers are Wes Foderingham, Worrall, Halliday, Jack, Grezda, Ross McCrorie and Gareth McAuley.
