STEVEN GERRARD has named five changes for this afternoon’s final Scottish Premiership match of the season with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
From the side which so convincingly defeated Celtic at Ibrox a week ago, out go skipper James Tavernier who misses out with a slight injury, defender Nikola Katic, midfielders Scott Arfield and Steven Davis and striker Jermain Defoe.
Their places in the XI are taken by Borna Barisic, Joe Worrall, Andy Halliday, Daniel Candeias and Alfredo Morelos.
That means it’s a back five of Wes Foderingham in goals, with Jon Flanagan, captain for the day Connor Goldson, Worrall and Barisic in front of him.
Ryan Jack, Halliday and Glenn Kamara make up the midfield, with Candeias and Ryan Kent providing support to forward Morelos.
Of those to miss out today, Defoe is the only one to make the bench next to the returning Graham Dorrans, Ross McCrorie, Lassana Coulibaly, Glenn Middleton, goalkeeper Andy Firth and for the first time, young winger Dapo Mebude.
It’s a 3pm kick-off here in Ayrshire, with live coverage available on RangersTV. Join Tom Miller and Derek Johnstone outside the UK.
