FABIO CARDOSO has underlined his commitment to the club and the supporters as he continues to settle in to life at Rangers.
The Portuguese centre-back arrived in the summer from Vitoria de Setubal and has been in impressive form since signing.
Talking to Rangers TV, the 23-year-old said: “I have had to change my routine and habits but I like the way I live in Glasgow. I like the food, I like the city, I like the people, and I love the club.
“I know living away from home is a compromise I have to make to be successful and to help Rangers be successful too.
“After training I used to like to go and have lunch at the beach next to the sea so that is a bit different to here.“
Speaking on the relationship he enjoys with his compatriot, he continued: “I love to play with Bruno.
“He helps me off the pitch as well like with food, as I like to eat a lot and he explains to me the right food to eat and the right time to eat.”
The international break gave the young Portuguese defender the opportunity to travel back home to visit his family.
“I have still seen my family a lot,” he said. “They are not too far away; it is only three hours on a plane. It’s always good to be home. I enjoyed the sun for a couple of days but now I am back to work – fresh and ready.”
