TONIGHT’S Europa League issue of the Rangers matchday programme, price just £3.50, has a stunning front cover – finished with silver foil – and exclusive interviews with your favourite Rangers stars and former players.

With Jaap Stam’s Feyenoord the visitors to Ibrox on matchday one of Group G, we get the thoughts of Allan McGregor ahead of this evening’s big game.

The 37-year-old goalkeeper is now in second place on Rangers’ list of players with European appearances with 65, moving above Cup Winners’ Cup legend John Greig who made 64.

Greegsy discusses this achievement and being on the bench for the Gers when they faced Feyenoord, both at home and away, during the 2001/02 season.

Also inside the programme, fans can read an exclusive interview with former Rangers and Feyenoord forward Peter van Vossen.

The Dutchman reflects on his spells at both clubs and, of course, THAT miss against Celtic. However, this did not sour his time at Ibrox and he still looks back with great fondness at his years as a Rangers player from 1996 to 1998.

We also catch up with Bobby Williamson, the former Kilmarnock and Hibs boss who made 52 appearances for the Gers in the mid-Eighties. This included a ‘Grand Challenge Match’ at Ibrox against a Feyenoord side that featured football legends Johan Cruyff and Ruud Gullit.

The game, which was sponsored by KLM, finished 3-3 with Williamson scoring in the first minute. In fact, it was so early in the game his manager Jock Wallace missed it!

Bobby, who is now living in Kenya and has recently had a two-year battle with cancer, shares his memories of the glamour friendly when he went up against two of the world’s greatest ever players.

Also inside the programme there is an interview with loyal Gers fan and memorabilia collector Ian Loch.

Ian attended his first Rangers game at Ibrox exactly 60 years ago – on 19 September 1959 when Ayr United beat Scot Symon’s side 3-0.

This didn’t put him off though, and he now reckons he has been to over 3,500 Rangers games. Ian tells his story follow, following the Light Blues in the programme and there are great photos of the incredible Gers-related memorabilia he owns.

Also in this packed issue, Steven Gerrard and James Tavernier provide their views ahead of the game in their manager and captain’s column, and former Rangers and Feyenoord striker Michael Mols is interviewed for ‘5 Quick-fire Questions’. There is a Hall of Fame feature on Ian McColl, They Played at Ibrox (Robin van Persie), a Junior Gers section for young fans and a half-time quiz to test your football knowledge.

Supporters will have noticed last season that, when put together, the 32 programme spines produced a flag image with the ‘Ready’ crest. This season a stunning image of the front of the Bill Struth Main Stand will be created so make sure you don’t miss an issue!
