WE look at some of the memorable moments that have happened on this day in the remarkable history of Rangers.

In 2009 Kris Boyd grabbed another double as Rangers secured a 3-1 win over Falkirk at Ibrox.

A double from Kris Boyd and a terrific solo effort from Steven Davis at the death secured all the points and there was plenty of controversy to mull over after the final whistle with Patrick Cregg and Sasa Papac both receiving red cards.

In 1998 Alex Cleland got the only goal as Rangers battled to a 1-0 victory over Motherwell at Ibrox.

In 2004 Rangers earned a narrow win over Motherwell at Ibrox thanks to Shota Arveladze. The Georgian’s effort – with 82 minutes showing on the stadium scoreboard – was enough to earn all three points and close the gap at the top of the SPL to eight points
