RANGERS can tonight confirm that Danny Wilson has joined MLS club Colorado Rapids.

Wilson is an academy graduate who re-joined the Light Blues in 2015, five years after he departed for Liverpool.

In his first spell with Rangers, Wilson scored one goal in 24 appearances in a six month spell that saw him make his debut as a 17-year-old. He left Ibrox having played his part in securing both the league title and the League Cup.

Following his spell in England, he returned to Scotland to play for Hearts for two and a half seasons before coming back to Ibrox.

During his second spell with Rangers, Wilson helped the club win the SPFL Championship, playing a further 87 times and scoring five goals.

Wilson was in the final months of his Rangers contract and everyone at the club wishes him well in his future career.
