RANGERS can today confirm that Daniel Candeias has left the club to join Turkish side Genclerbirligi for an undisclosed fee.

The 31-year-old signed for Rangers from Benfica in June 2017 and has made almost 100 appearances for the club in all competitions.

Candeias scored his first Ibrox goal in a 6-0 win over Dunfermline Athletic in the League Cup in August 2017. Over his two-years, the Portuguese winger netted 14 competitive goals for the club and provided a number of valuable assists.

We thank Daniel for his time at Rangers and wish him all the best for the future.
