RANGERS can today confirm that Barrie McKay has joined Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee.

McKay, a Rangers Young Player of the Year will join up with former Light Blues manager Mark Warburton and his assistant David Weir at the City Ground.

The Academy graduate made his professional debut for the club in 2012 against Brechin City in 2012 and made 139 appearances for the club in the five years since.

The winger scored twenty goals for the club and was capped for Scotland in May 2016 in a friendly match against France, a 3-0 defeat for the national team.

McKay was loaned out for the second half of the 2013/14 season to Morton, where he scored three goals in 14 starts. At the start of the 2014/15 he was sent out on loan again, to Championship side Raith Rovers.
