PEDRO CAIXINHA makes two changes for Rangers final home game of the season against Aberdeen as Aidan Wilson makes his debut.
The 18-year-old centre-half comes in for Clint Hill in the Light Blues starting line-up while Joe Dodoo starts and Jason Holt drops to the bench.
The Portuguese has gone all-out attack for the visit of the Dons, naming Barrie McKay, Kenny Miller, Joe Garner, Dodoo and Josh Windass in his starting XI. It’s likely the Gers will play in a 4-1-2-3 formation with Garner, who has bagged two in two spearing an attacking looking frontline. McKay will also look to add to his tally of two in two after netting, like Garner, against Partick Thistle and then Hearts. The winger makes his 100th start for the club this evening.
Wilson’s inclusion means the academy graduate from Glasgow makes his first start and debut all in the one evening. He has been named on the bench four times since Caixinha’s arrival after the manager’s well publicised defensive crisis and signed a contract extension at the club this month. He partners David Bates at the back while James Tavernier and Lee Hodson keep their spots at full-back.
Jon Toral will make his last appearance at Ibrox in a holding role while Windass and Miller provide the attacking threat. McKay starts on the right of a front three, Garner goes through the middle and Dodoo is on the left.
