CLUB legends and Ambassadors Derek Johnstone and Mark Hateley recently took time out to connect with fans over the phone, during what is a strange time for everyone.
Elderly followers of Rangers are self-isolating due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while other supporters have seen their usual routines disturbed with the postponement of football.
Johnstone and Hateley sat down together to make phone calls to a mix of season ticket holders and fans who the Rangers Charity Foundation support.
That included wishing a 92-year-old gentleman a Happy Birthday, a chat with a 104-year-old fan and catch-ups with fans about football.
Rangers are trying to engage with the community during this period to continue the club’s Everyone Anyone campaign and reach out to as many people as possible, within government guidelines.
