SUNDAY marks the first league game of the 2019/20 season and supporters are encouraged to get along early and enjoy the match.
Over the summer the club embarked on a number of stadium upgrades and this weekend will see the introduction of the new Smartcard system.
Every season ticket holder has been issued a new smartcard for season 2019/20. The club has produced a short introduction video on the use of the new ticketing access video.
As supporters familiarise themselves with the new system there may be additional delays in access and queuing. We are asking that supporters arrive extra early at the game to help alleviate the queuing times.
Please note smartcards are valid for all turnstiles with its designated area in addition to the turnstiles printed on the smartcard.
As this is a new ticketing access system the club have thoroughly tested the process and are confident in its success. But as a responsible organisation, we have also ensured an additional back up plan is in place to ensure our supporters can gain access to the match safely.
Please note that we will also have CBRN barriers up before the match to segregate the home and away supporters. Supporters should be aware of the access routes to Ibrox as barriers will be placed at the away supporter section in the North West Corner of the stadium before and after the game.
Rangers fans will not be able to access the stadium footprint from Broomloan Road or traverse the barriers. Please access the stadium footprint from Edmiston Drive, Harrison Drive or Mafeking Street.
Please note the Ticket Centre will be open from 9am and will close shortly after kick-off. The Ticket Centre will not be open after the match.
