Club captain James Tavernier has enjoyed a stellar month throughout September, helping himself to a couple of goals and creating countless chances for his team mates. Rested against Ayr, but an ever-present elsewhere, right back Tav has proved invaluable at both ends of the pitch. Tavernier’s goals included a well-dispatched penalty against Dundee and a goal of the month contending free kick vs St Johnstone.
Midfield man Arfield has been a composing presence in the Gers midfield. His experiences down in England show through as he works tirelessly all over the pitch and is always composed in possession. Arfield grabbed his first Rangers goal in the excellent 2-2 draw away at Villarreal and followed that up with a goal against St Johnstone in the following league game. An ever-present in the league throughout September, the Canadian international has become an integral part of the Rangers squad.
On-loan Liverpool man Kent has provided a real attacking threat with his pace and directness from wide areas. He bagged his first goal against Dundee at Ibrox and has shone in matches against St Johnstone and Ayr United. In his short time in Glasgow, Kent has proved himself to be an invaluable member of the Rangers squad and at just 21, there is certainly more to come from the Englishman.
