THE vote is now open for Rangers’ Player of the Month award for March.
Declan John, Jamie Murphy and James Tavernier are the three candidates for Rangers’ March Player of the Month.
All three have impressed during a difficult month for Rangers. Before you cast your vote read the reports of each player’s month below:
Declan John has once again proved to be a reliable, consistent member of the Rangers squad. His excellent displays for Rangers seen him recalled to Ryan Giggs first Wales squad for their trip to China. John featured in both games of the international break as well as returning to the Gers team follow a short injury lay off.
Another member of Graeme Murty’s squad to feature for their national team, Jamie Murphy made his international debut appearing as a sub in Scotland game against Costa Rica. Murphy also bagged his 4th Rangers goal with a superb finish in the 2-2 draw against Motherwell at Fir Park.
The team’s current captain James Tavernier has been another dependable player for Graeme Murty throughout March, both in defence and attack. Right-back Tav grabbed his 7th goal of the season with a coolly taken penalty against Motherwell. Add this to his 7 assists this season, Tavernier has been one of the most productive players in the division.
