RANGERS Football Club have signed a four-year agreement with Dutch company Osonyq to supply the club’s first team.

The partnership sees the Light Blues link up with a pioneer in the field of natural sports drinks and continues a tradition of Dutch influence at Ibrox.

Rangers become the third football club to partner with the innovative brand with Osonyq also supplying Italian giants Juventus, as well as Eredivisie side Vitesse.

Osonyq will work closely with the club not only to provide their isotonic sports drink but also see where the company can develop its products further in consultation with the club’s medical and sports science staff.

Osonyq’s isotonic sports drink is made of all natural ingredients, is very low in sugar, gluten free and suitable for vegans.

Marcel Kraaibeek, Osonyq Chief Sales Officer commented:

“We are very happy to announce this collaboration with the famous Scottish football club Rangers FC.

“Especially considering the history of the club and the period between 1998 and 2006 where the Dutch contribution was enormous with players like Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Michael Mols, Fernando Ricksen, the De Boer brothers and of course Dick Advocaat who won the treble with Rangers in 1999.

“As a Dutch brand, we look forward to working with Rangers and joining their ambition to again win prizes.”

Rangers Manager Director Stewart Robertson added: “We are delighted to be partnering with Osonyq to provide our first team with their isotonic sports drink.

“They are innovators in their field and their products will help our players both on and off the field.

“Osonyq is a relatively new company who are looking to expand worldwide and Rangers are happy to be part of their journey into the football industry, alongside Juventus and Vitesse.

“They push for the highest standards in nutrition and want to support athletes who are performing at the highest level – all of which fits perfectly with our vision for the players here.”
