VOTING is now open for October’s Goal of the Month. Alfredo Morelos, Allan McGregor and Ryan Kent are the nominees for this month’s award. Read the reports for each candidates’ month before casting your vote below.
Colombian striker Morelos has had a stunning month in front of goal, scoring 5 in 5, including a brace in the Europa League against Rapid Vienna. His all-round game has improved and he has chipped in with a couple of assists for his teammates. He now sits on 14 goals for the season, an impressive haul considering we’re only just in to November.
Allan McGregor has continued to impress in between the sticks for Rangers, producing countless saves, particularly in recent matches. The 36-year-old shows no signs of slowing down as he continues to be first choice keeper for both Rangers and the national team. 2 clean sheets in October has taken his tally to 9 for the season.
Following on from his September Player of the Month prize, Ryan Kent has continued his impressive form throughout October. His direct playing style has teams on the back foot from the first whistle and there is an end product with goals coming against Hearts and Hamilton during October.
