RANGERS have signed a partnership with New Zealand youth soccer academy All-Stars Football Academy.

Coaching staff from the club will travel to the All-Stars facility in Mount Maunganui to work with their youth teams from January 15-26 before bringing a group to Glasgow on tour later in 2018.

The All-Stars Academy Director Martin Collins said: “All-Stars Football Academy is proud to announce we are International Partners with Rangers FC.

“We will be holding Rangers Coaching Clinics for ASFA players here in NZ. We will also organise trips to Glasgow to get the full Rangers FC experience, to be trained by their coaches, learn the Rangers way and play against their junior Academy.

“This partnership is to enhance the development of ASFA players as they continue to grow as junior and youth football players.

“We look forward to the added benefits this has for the All-stars Football Academy and the players within.”

Overseas Development Officer Gary Crooks commented: “We are delighted to be working with the All-Stars Football Academy in New Zealand at the beginning of next year.

“Having spoken with Martin on numerous occasions it was clear how professional and driven he was about taking his program to the next level.

“The principles in which has installed at the academy through player and coach development fits in perfectly with our own philosophy at Glasgow Rangers.

“We look forward in assisting in the progress of All-stars Football Academy for years to come.”
