RANGERS Soccer Schools can today announce a new, three year partnership with Malaysian club Raisuri Warriors.

Based in Kuala Lumpur, Raisuri Warriors were formed in 2016 with members from local and international schools in the area who wanted to play at a top level simply for the love of the game.

The agreement between the two will see Rangers coaches travel to Malaysia to provide coaching sessions for the club, while Raisuri Warriors players will travel in the opposite direction to Glasgow to experience football in Europe at Gers’ elite facilities.

Gary Gibson, Head of Soccer Schools and International Relations commented: “This agreement with the Raisuri Warriors is another sign of the club’s continued progression in Asia through collaboration with football organisations that are eager to develop their club, coaches and players.

“We’re excited to get the partnership started and over the next three years we will have staff travel to Kuala Lumpar to deliver camp and coach education events and tour groups coming to Glasgow for football and cultural experiences”

Meanwhile, Muz Abdul from Raisuri Warriors added: “We are extremely proud to be working with Rangers Soccer Schools, creating opportunities for our youth players and giving them life changing experiences.

“We are all looking forward to our first visit to the world’s most successful football club and the next three years of development for our players and coaches.”

The Rangers Soccer Schools has recently established a strong foot print across Asia having partnered with Bengaluru FC in India, ASA in Hong Kong & the Master Football Academy in Taiwan.
