The Galveston County Rangers was established in 2015, formally known as Galveston Pirate Soccer Club which was founded in 1916.

Since the name change the club has grown leaps and bounds. “We made it to our league cup final and tripled our number of wins this season and added three coaches to our coaching staff.

“Most importantly and the catalyst for this agreement is our Youth Academy, that will ensure the game and club is grown properly from the ground up.”

The partnership will see the Rangers North American Academy hosting a series of Elite Player ID events with the Galveston County Rangers. Rangers will send Academy staff members over to work with Galveston County players at these events. The best male and female players at these events will be invited to attend the Rangers National Camp.

The National Camp will host the top players from each of our partner clubs in North America. From the National Camp, the top players will be invited to attend the Elite Player Tour at our Academy in Glasgow, Scotland.

Bill Alsobrook, Owner of the Galveston County Rangers said, “I could not be more pleased with this partnership agreement, This will provide a wealth of opportunities for our young players in the Galveston County and Houston area the opportunity to fully develop their skillset as players and will expose them to numerous opportunities that otherwise would have been out of reach.

“The fact that an organization, like Glasgow Rangers mirrors the values we hold dear with this club is also a huge upside”.
