THE new season sees the return of our popular Goal of the Month competition.

We will be inviting a fan who voted for the winning goal to the Hummel Training Centre to recreate the goal with the winning player.

August has seen a number of players get on the scoresheet and we have selected 4 of the best for you to choose from.  Read the reports below and vote for your favourite to be in with a chance of winning.

Goal A – Morelos (2nd) vs Kilmarnock

Leading the game 1-0 after his 1st of the game, Alfredo Morelos set Rangers on course to move into the Betfred Cup quarter-finals with his 2nd of the match.  The self-titled Buffalo wrestled with the home side’s rear guard when Tavernier put a ball over the top for him. When he sprung clear the ball dropped kindly and he cannoned it past Bachmann and into the bottom corner from a tight angle.

Goal B – Lafferty (2nd) vs Motherwell

Making his 2nd debut for the club after re-signing from Hearts, Kyle Lafferty grabbed 2 goals in an entertaining draw with Motherwell. With the match sitting at 2-2, Tavernier whipped in a superb ball from the right and the Gers latest signing used his 6’4 advantage to nod home, leaving Carson no chance.

Goal C – Ejaria vs Ufa

With the Gers looking to secure European Football for the first time in 7 years, Ovie Ejaria put them well on their way with a stunning strike inside the first 10 minutes in Russia. Flanagan’s cross from the left was cleared nervously to the on-loan Liverpool midfielder and from just inside the 18-yard box he curled a stunning shot beyond goalkeeper Aleksandr Belenov.
