Goal A – Ryan Kent vs Dundee
With his first goal for Rangers, Ryan Kent put Rangers 2-0 up against Dundee with a superb solo goal. The on-loan Liverpool man played two clever one-twos with Coulibaly and Arfield to get into the visitors’ 18-yard box before he calmly slotted the ball into the net with aplomb for his first Rangers goal.
Goal B – Kyle Lafferty vs Villarreal
Trailing 2-1 away in Spain, Rangers produced a superb team goal to draw the match level and take a well-earned point away with them. A superb ball down the left wing from Glenn Middleton to Borna Barisic allowed the Croat to play a first-time cross in for Lafferty who slotted home with aplomb to make it 2-2.
Goal C – James Tavernier vs St Johnstone
With his 5th goal of the season from right back, captain James Tavernier sent Rangers on their way to a 5-1 victory over St Johnstone at Ibrox. After being brought down 25 yards from goal, he would dust himself off and dispatch the free kick superbly past Zander Clark in the saints net.
Goal D – Glenn Middleton vs Ayr United
On his first start for Rangers, 18 year old winger Glenn Middleton produced a brilliant display and bagged 2 goals to send Rangers into the league cup semis. The 2nd goal was a superb finish, taking an Andy Halliday through ball in his stride, shrugging off the Ayr defender and rifling the ball past Ross Doohan in the Ayr goal.
