VOTING for February’s Goal of the Month is now open.  Read the reports below and vote for your favourite.

One fan who voted for the winning goal will win the chance to recreate the goal at Auchenhowie with the player himself.

Last month one lucky fan got the chance to recreate January’s goal of the Month with Jason Cummings.

Goal A  – Windass vs Partick Thistle

With his first of 7 goals throughout February, Josh Windass set Rangers on their way to victory over Partick Thistle with a clinical finish to round off a great team goal.  Candeias and Cummings worked a great one-two down the right flank, with the Portuguese providing a sublime cross to allow Windass to finish with his left foot into the top right hand corner.

Goal B – Tavernier vs Partick Thistle

Sealing the win over Partick Thistle, current captain James Tavernier scored with his 6th goal of the season. Right back Tavernier picked the ball up down the middle and ran at the scattering backline in front of him. As it opened up the defender needed little invitation to send a rocket of a shot into the top corner from 25 yards out.

Goal C – Cummings vs Ayr

Giving the Gers the lead in their Scottish Cup 5th round tie against Ayr, Jason Cummings grabbed his second Rangers goal.  Ayr hadn’t set themselves to defend a corner, which Murphy took short to Goss. He curled in a fine ball under no pressure, which, with his back to goal, Cummings flicked into the back of the net.

Goal D – Murphy vs Hearts

Jamie Murphy has settled straight into life at Rangers after his January move and this was none more apparent with his goal against Hearts at Ibrox. Picking up the ball inside the 18 yard box after a slick pass from Docherty, Murphy cut inside two Hearts defenders before sitting down the keeper and slotting by two players on the line – his 3rd goal in 3 games.

Goal E – Goss vs St Johnstone

After Jamie Murphy was fouled 20 yards out, an opportunity arose to put the game out of sight against St Johnstone.  Sean Goss was the man to take it and just as he did against Hibs at Ibrox at the start of February, he curled the ball over the wall and with enough dip to find the bottom corner of the net.
