THE Rangers Under 16s will kick off their 2017 SuperCupNI campaign on Monday in Northern Ireland.

The youngsters will compete in the junior section of the tournament formerly known as the Milk Cup.

They face County Armagh on Monday, Chilean side Colina on Tuesday and First Choice Soccer from the USA on Wednesday in qualifying rounds of the competition.

The likes of Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Southampton and Sheffield United are also competing in the section and they could face them in later rounds.

Players who have gone on to be Premier League stars played in the tournament in their youth. Steve McManaman, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Paul Scholes, Danny Welbeck, James Milner and Wayne Rooney to name a few.

Ghanaian academy side Right to Dream won the junior section of the competition last season with County Londonderry finishing runners-up.
