THREE Rangers youngsters have been called up for Scotland under-19s forthcoming friendly matches with Greece in Athens on September 3 and 5.

The games are being used as a warm-up for the the Euro under-19 first qualifying group which takes place in October with Liechtenstein, Israel and qualifying group hosts Andorra, with the winners then progressing on to the elite qualifying round.

From Rangers, goalkeeper Robby McCrorie, defender Ross McCrorie and attacker Liam Burt have been included in the 20-man squad.

All three will be hoping this is the start of a journey that will take the Scots to the Euro under-19 finals next July.

Elsewhere, Liam Kelly, who is on-loan to Livingston, is in the Scotland under-21 squad for their game with Macedonia at Tynecastle next Friday as they aim to qualify for the Euro under-21 Championships in Poland next summer.
