AFTER the international break, a number of Rangers players were back in action at their respective loan clubs over the weekend. Here’s how they got on…
Greg Docherty – Shrewsbury Town
Greg played a full 90 minutes but could do little to prevent Shrewsbury falling to a 2-0 home defeat to Sunderland on Saturday. An Omar Beckles own-goal and a Luke O’Nein strike, both in the second half, ensured the Shrews fell to defeat to Jack Ross’ side.
Jason Holt – Fleetwood Town
Jason played 67 minutes of Fleetwood’s 1-0 defeat at table-topping Portsmouth on Saturday. Oliver Hawkins netted the only goal on 50 minutes, while Fleetwood had Nathan Sheron red carded with six minutes left.
Carlos Pena – Necaxa
Carlos played the full 90 minutes as Necaxa went down 2-0 at home to Leon on Sunday. Necaxa are 15th in the 18-team Liga MX.
Lee Hodson – St Mirren
Lee played 90 minutes and was booked as St Mirren went down 2-1 to Kilmarnock on Saturday. After going 1-0 up through Adam Hammil early-on, Alan Power and Aaron Tshibola hit back in the second-half to hand Killie victory.
Jak Alnwick – Scunthorpe United
Scunthorpe went down 3-2 away to 10-man Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday. Despite being 2-0 up in seven minutes, the home side hit back to level before scoring a 90th minute winner through Craig Mackail-Smith in the 90th minute despite having their ‘keeper, Ryan Alsop, red carded nine minutes earlier.

Jamie Barjonas – Bury
Jamie was a late sub for Bury as they demolished Notts County 4-0 at home on Saturday to move them to seventh in the League Two table, just inside the play-off places.
Zak Rudden – Falkirk
Zak played 82 minutes of Falkirk’s 1-0 defeat at Morton on Saturday. Bob McHugh’s goal on 76 minuites was enough for the Greenock club who had goalkeeper Leo Fasan sent off early in the second half.
Kyle Bradley – Annan Athletic
Kyle played 90 minutes as Annan booked their place in Round Three of the Scottish Cup with a 1-0 away win at Highland League Rothes on Saturday.
Myles Beerman – Birkirkara
Myles came on in the 82nd minute of Birkirkara’s 2-0 home win over Tarxien Rainbows on Saturday. Birkirkara are sixth in the 14-team Maltese Premier League.
