Kieran Wright/Aidan McAdams RYDC Twitter Q&A

Rangers Academy goalkeepers Kieran Wright and Aidan McAdams – took part in a recent Twitter Q&A session for the Rangers Youth Development Company.

Check out the highlights of their session.

Q – Rangers Central – If you were to be in a 5 a-side team with you in goals and 4 first-team players outfield, who would be in your team?

AM – Jordan Rossiter, Stephen Kelly, Ovie Ejaria and Lee Wallace

KW – Joe Worrall, Ryan Jack, Dan Candeias and Alfredo Morelos

Q – Micheil – Who’ is your biggest inspiration as a player, who do you look up to?

KW – Allan McGregor, Scotland’s number one and Rangers number one. He’s everything you look for in a goalie and has been about the game for a number of years

AM – Ederson of Manchester City. He is young but he is so relaxed on the ball and a great shot stopper. A lot of good attributes.

Q – Ally Mac – What would you say to a young person who wants to be goalie?

AM – To listen to your coaches and take on every bit of advice you can get. And work your hardest every time you are on the pitch

KW – Not let any negative comments or mistakes get to you. It can still happen to first team goalkeepers

Q – Who’s your inspiration? Also Aidan, what product do you use in your hair?

AM – Inspiration – Ederson. Hair product – VO5

KW – Inspiration – Allan McGregor

Q – Allan – Aidan, are you sure you are not 26 years old?

AM – Yes positive!

Q – Jack Maclennan – Aidan, is the hair style a tribute to Leicester/Tottenham goalie Ian Walker?

AM – Not really – I am growing it long

Q – Ewan Taylor – Who is your favourite Rangers goalkeeper of all time?

KW & AM – Andy Goram and Allan McGregor from both of us.

Q – Nicky Hogarth – Worst GK haircut?

AM – Nicky Hogarth!!

Q – Charlie Russell – Aidan how did you find the move from Celtic to Rangers?

AM – It was fairly comfortable. All the staff and players made it really easy for me and I now have some very close mates at the club

Q – El Bufalo – Ham and Pineapple pizza– yes or no?

KW – If it was put in front of me, I wouldn’t say no

AM – Has anyone got the number for the dinner police?

Q – Rangers Retro Shirts – Who do you think is the best Scottish goalkeeper?

AM – Andy Goram – not a typical Scottish goalkeeper. Small and agile. Allan McGregor too

KW – Andy Goram – he went about his business really well and when he was on the pitch he done his job. I’d also say Allan McGregor

Q – Andrew Dallas – Is it true you put tomato sauce on scrambled egg and Nando’s?

AM – Yes!
