RYAN HARDIE bagged a brace for Scotland under-19’s as they defeated Mexico at the Arena Grossaspach in Germany.

Twin brothers Robby and Ross McCrorie also both lined up in the match which is the first in a week the squad will spend in Germany.

Scott Gemmill’s side lost an early goal in the match but fought back with Nottingham Forest’s Oliver Burke equalising for in the 31st minute of the match.

Swiftly after that opening goal from the Scottish side, Hardie bagged the first of his brace, with the young Gers striker grabbing his second in the sixtieth minute of the match.

Scotland next face the United States at the invitational tournament on Friday, before facing the hosts on Monday.
