RANGERS under 19s returned from the Copa del Agatha tournament in Holland at the weekend having competed well against a number of top sides.
Finishing fourth in the competition, the Light Blues defeated eventual winners Club Brugge in the group stage of the competition, and drew three more of their five games.
Match one for the Gers was the victory over Brugge with goals coming from Sam Jamieson and Zak Rudden, before they followed that up with back-to-back 0-0 draws on day one with Cerezo Osaka and Red Bull Brasil.
Day two began with a 1-1 draw with Chinese Super League side Shanghai SIPG with Rudden again on the scoresheet, but Rangers were denied a place in the final of the competition as they went down 2-0 to Vitesse Arnhem in their final game.
The final itself saw Brugge defeat Red Bull Brasil 4-3 on penalties.
