THE JANUARY transfer window closed with the first team bringing in four players – but what happened at the Rangers Academy?

Six Academy players went out on loan for the second half of the season with Robbie Crawford, Darren Ramsay and Luca Gasparotto remaining at Alloa Athletic, Arbroath and Greenock Morton respectively.

Andy Murdoch finished his spell at Cowdenbeath and moved up a league to play his football at Queen of the South until the end of the season.

Tom Walsh has moved to Dumbarton to get some first team action, with goalkeeper Liam Kelly joining East Fife in League One.

Craig Halkett also left the club, joining Livingston on a permanent deal following a loan spell at Berwick Rangers during the first half of the season.

The Academy also added two players to the ranks, with wide player Mekhi McLeaod and striker Rory Currie joining on contracts until the end of the season.
