THE Rangers’ Development Squad Games Programme continues this afternoon with a trip to take on Belgian outfit KV Mechelen.

One of Belgium’s best-known teams, Mechelen will provide Gers with a strong test as they look to bounce back from their 4-1 Ibrox defeat to Liverpool on Friday night.

Led once more by Billy Kirkwood and Craig Mulholland in the absence of Graeme Murty, Gers squad contains a number of under-17 players:

Kyle Bradley

Andrew Dallas

Dapo Mebude (U17)

Zac Butterworth (U17)

Stephen Kelly

Ross Lyon

Serge Atakayi

Lewis Mayo

Nicky Hogarth (U17)

Cammy Palmer

Zak Rudden

Matthew Shiels

Jordan Thompson

Aidan Wilson

Aidan McAdams

The squad is missing the likes of Ryan Hardie, Jamie Barjonas and Ross McCrorie who all remain a part of Murty’s first-team pool. It does however include Aidan Wilson – the young defender having this week signed a new deal with the club.

We’ll keep you up to date with the game (which kicks off at 14:00 GMT) on our @RFC_Youth Twitter account.
