RANGERS can today confirm that Cammy Bell has left the club by mutual consent.

It was Ally McCoist who brought the Scotland international goalkeeper to Ibrox from Kilmarnock in May 2013, and he went on to make 39 appearances in total in his debut season, including 31 in the league as Rangers were crowned Champions of League One.

In 2014/15 he added 18 more appearances but a shoulder injury meant he missed a large chunk of the campaign with Steve Simonsen and Lee Robinson taking his place between the posts.

The arrival of Wes Foderingham in the summer of 2015 meant Cammy did not feature in Rangers’ second season in the Championship but his contribution prior to that will be remembered, and everyone at the club wishes him every success in his future career.
