Rangers players and staff have all been advised on the clubs social media policy and have also been advised by the police on what they are to do should they receive any abuse of a personal, racist or sectarian nature.

The Rangers social media team monitor the conversations that the public have with the players and any tweets found to be abusive will be reported to Twitter and where necessary, the police.
